Doesn't matter. While we do track those numbers, publishers set the threshold. For example, they may elect to only send a book to influencers with 5000 or more followers or they may decide to send it to our entire mailing list. We leave that up to them.
Short answer? All of them. As an influencer, you get to decide which titles you want and which you don't. We don't want to make that decision for you.
Absolutely! We use a unique platform created by our friends over at BookFunnel. Book links are unique to each recipient on our list. They can't be shared or duplicated. They can only be used by the intended recipient and we have the ability to set an expiration date.
As our list continues to grow, we may break up our list by genre, but at this point, we send all book offers to all influencers (our complete list).
Our smallest influencer has 1000, the largest has 660,000. The bulk have 5000 or more.
Any verified influencer (we verify their profile and follower count before white-listing) can download an ebook. Publishers are able to limit the total number of downloads but we discourage that since the cost to distribute an ebook is so low.
We don’t, we leave that up to you, the publisher. As requests for physical copies come in, we forward them to the publisher along with the influencer's stats. Based on their location and total number of followers, the publisher can then decide whether or not to send a book.
While this may make sense on paper from purely a numbers standpoint, we’ve found the influencers with smaller numbers of followers tend to promote more since they’re trying to grow their audience. In many cases, an influencer with 2000 followers will draw more attention to your book than one with 20,000.
Because influencers like to include the book in their videos, we find most will request print copies over electronic when available. That doesn’t mean they won’t read an ebook, it just means they like to hold a real book when talking about it.
There are so many different factors that influence this, there’s really no way to know until you try. Name recognition, cover design, book description… the same things that draw attention from the book-buying public work here. TikTok currently leans toward romance and literary novels but that is quickly changing.
No. Reviewers will not pay for your book. Think of it this way - you're asking them to read your book and create a video review. That is a lot of work. Compare that to the cost of your book - it's a serious bargain.
If you wish to cancel your promotion, you must do so no less than two weeks prior to your scheduled run date.
NOTE: With cancellation, you will not be permitted to reapply to the program for one year.
